Atkins Estate Agents was established in 1994 to offer a comprehensive, independent and highly professional service in the sale and purchase of residential property throughout the Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset region. In February 2005 the business was acquired by Blake & Blake, a long established estate agency business in Bournemouth which commenced trading in 1946, together with Solent TSP2, a well known southern area Mortgage Broker – together the strength of these combined businesses have gained an enviable reputation as one of the areas leading estate agents. In October 2007 further expansion was enabled with the acquisition of Tudor Estates in Springbourne bringing the total number of offices in the group to four.
Managing Director, Gary Witheyman, has over 20 years experience of successfully selling property in the area, together with his exceptionally experienced team of staff, including a Branch Partner in each office able to offer unrivalled local knowledge and experience in the property market. Gary is a past Chairman of the local branch of The National Association of Estate Agents and is a respected figure with the profession whose opinion on property matters is frequently sought and valued by the public, fellow professionals and the media.
The group now has specialist teams covering all aspects of residential and commercial business including, Sales, Lettings, Mortgage and related financial services, New Homes and Homes of Distinction.
We are regarded as an innovative thinking organisation backed up with excellent sales and negotiating skills. We choose to focus on communication as the main ingredient for Sales and Purchase. We have an experienced team of professionals, dedicated to providing an old fashioned personal service to all clients. Directors and key staff in the branches hold a direct financial interest in the success of the business as shareholders.
